Founder Program for Muslim Students

EdAI's Founder Program is a 12-week, faith-centered program for Muslim students in grades 6–12 who have already built something — an app, website, tool or product — and want to test demand, find customers and grow it. Taught by Dr. Azeez Idris. The online cohort starts Sunday, November 15, 2026 and meets Sundays, 8:30–10:00 AM PT (Pacific Time). Tuition is $1,200 per student. Installment options available—ask us for details.

From a product they've built to real customers. Students still starting from an idea should begin with the Builder Program.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the EdAI Founder Program for?

Muslim students in grades 6–12 who have already built something — an app, website, tool or product — and want to test demand, find customers and grow it. Students who are still starting from an idea should begin with the Builder Program.

How long is the Founder Program, and when does it start?

The Founder Program is 12 weeks. The online cohort starts Sunday, November 15, 2026 and meets Sundays, 8:30–10:00 AM PT (Pacific Time). Saturday in-person sessions in Redmond, WA run on a separate schedule.

Does a student need to have built something before joining?

Yes. More than an idea: Founder is for students who have already built something and want to take it to real customers. It does not need to be polished — a working first version is enough to start learning from real customers.

Does a student need coding or business experience?

Not as such — but students need to have already built something they can put in front of customers. Builder is the place to start if they haven't yet. No business experience is required; students should be willing to speak with people, test assumptions, accept feedback and take responsibility for their work.

What will students work toward?

Evidence from customer conversations and demand tests; a clearer target customer and offer; outreach and sales experiments; improvements to an existing product; an evidence-based decision about next steps. These are the intended deliverables, not guarantees — progress depends on participation and the scope of the work.

Who teaches the Founder Program?

Dr. Azeez Idris, Co-Founder and CEO, EdAI. Muslim professionals from technology companies and startups also mentor students; mentor participation varies by cohort.

What does it cost?

$1,200 per student for the 12-week program. Installment options available—ask us for details. Payment comes after acceptance, not when you apply.

How is the Founder Program different from the Builder Program?

Builder is for students starting from an idea or problem and working toward a first functional product. Founder is for students who have already built something and want to test demand, find customers and grow it. Fit is based on where a student is starting from, not on grade.

Will every participant start a company or earn revenue?

No. Company formation, admission to later opportunities, revenue, investment and other outcomes are not guaranteed. Participants work toward stronger evidence, clearer decisions and responsible next steps.

How does EdAI incorporate Islamic values?

Participants are encouraged to build with faith, service, amanah, responsibility and respect for the people affected by their decisions. Ethical judgment is treated as part of building, not an afterthought.
